Just thirty years ago, it was rare indeed to hear that any family was homeless, but the economic scenario of the country has changed in these past 7 years. Electrician & Plumber Needed

We are in need of a Licensed Electrician & Plumber.

Last fall, Saint Mary's donated a complete kitchen to Hope Haven. This includes stainless steel sinks, hoods, commercial convection ovens, a deep fryer and an electric range with oven, also an industrial garbage disposal. All electrical units are 220 Volts. Because the holidays were upon us, and also the onset of winter, everything has been laying outside under tarps.

Now, we have a chance to bring it all into our building and installed, thanks to the generous donation of an anonymous company. They are donating a crane and operator to lift the pieces to the second floor. This will be done on the 19th of this month.

The window for electrical and plumbing work needs to be finished between the  16th and the 21st.  During this time the soup kitchen will be closed. For this reason we want to get this job finished as quickly as possible.

If you are a licensed electrician or plumber and would like to be a part of our upgrade efforts, please call the mission at 207-713-6086. The donation of your time and skill will be a blessing to not only the staff of Hope Haven but the many poor and homeless people we serve.

Or, if you know of someone who qualifies, please pass this request on to them.

Thank you and God Bless You.
